How to cancel a print job in Windows?

In Windows, you can cancel any print job by following the steps below after you've started printing something.

Cancel a print job from the Notification Area

1. When starting to print something in Windows a printer icon is shown in the Windows Notification Area, right-click this icon. If you do not see a printer icon click the Up arrow in the Notification Area to show all icons.
2. Click Open All Active Printers.
3. Right-click on the print job you want to cancel and then click Cancel.
4. When prompted click Yes to cancel the print job.
